Introductions

J&J picked me up from the airport and we drove across town to their apartment. They showed me to my room (which is their son's room who is away at college in the States) and I went through my bags to find the stuff I brought for them.

I asked if it would be better for me to stay awake until nighttime and they said it would, so I forced myself to stay awake. I took a  hot shower (MUCH needed!!) and that helped me wake up a little.

I met their daughters, who are 15 and 17.

J cooked a chicken-broccoli bake for dinner with brownies for dessert. I was really struggling to stay awake during dinner. I am beyond excited to finally be in China! It seems surreal, but I know that this is absolutely where G-d would have me to be, no doubt!
