I spent a really long time in the Word this morning, so when
J called me to tell me she was by the main gate, I didn’t even have time to put
on makeup or do my hair! haha. As soon as I got in the taxi, J told me that the
taxi driver said I was very beautiful- that I really had beautiful eyes. Did I
mention how much I love China!?! :) I was very flattered! It's good to know
that make-up isn't as much of a necessity here as it is in the States!
We took the taxi
about 5 minutes down the road to a little coffee shop owned by a lady from
Texas. The coffee shop is all decorated in Texas decor! We ate lunch and talked
for a little while.
J had a meeting at 2:00, so after we ate, we left for the
university. While J was in the meeting, I kept drinking green tea. This seemed
like a good idea at the time, but then as my bladder began to get full, I
regretted the green tea.
Bladder full= squatty potty! Eeeekk!!
I told J I wasn't good at using the squatty, so when we got
to the bathroom (which stunk SO BAD), she showed me what works best. We laughed
really hard at the situation and umm…it was a success! J
We made our way back across town to set up my Internet/get a
phone. J talked to the sales lady for over an hour to try to figure out the
best deal. After we finally decided what to get/went to pay, they said it would
be 3-4 days before they could come hook it up. Only problem was that I was
going to be gone that whole week to a language training seminar…so we told them
we would be back!
